FAQ:
After my root canal, do I need to go back to my dentist?
When Dr. Brandal places a temporary filling in the tooth, it is important to see your general dentist for a permanent restoration within 6 to 8 weeks.
After a root canal, the tooth may be more brittle. To protect back teeth from damage, a full crown is usually recommended.
If there is a crown currently on the tooth, it can usually be repaired with a permanent filling.
